Published by AutoPosting Pro, a competing product. CARVID’s official pages were reviewed September 8, 2026. We have not used CARVID ourselves, measured its sales results or independently validated its integrations. This is a purchase checklist, not a star-rated review.

The short answer: judge the package you will actually use

CARVID may be worth evaluating if your dealership wants inventory integration, broad social distribution, AI media and team lead tools together. If you are one salesperson mainly preparing and reviewing Marketplace listings in Chrome, compare a narrower product such as AutoPosting Pro before paying for capabilities you will not use.

There is no honest yes-or-no answer from a feature list alone. Ask how much work the specific plan removes, who still reviews listings and conversations, and whether the integration supports your actual inventory source. CARVID’s official homepage is the source for its advertised product scope.

What CARVID advertises

  • Customer-local Marketplace posting: its homepage describes a browser extension using the dealership computer’s existing Facebook session, without taking the Facebook password.
  • Broader distribution: the site names channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile alongside Marketplace.
  • Inventory connections: its integration page describes API, CSV, FTP and custom CSV/XML/API feeds—not only native API integrations.
  • Listing and creative work: it advertises price updates, sold removal, AI photo/background tools and photo-to-video generation.
  • Buyer follow-up: it advertises inventory-based answers, appointment booking and lead delivery, with an inbox responder priced separately.

Compare the base price with the inbox-enabled price

The following monthly USD amounts come from CARVID’s pricing page. The last column is arithmetic—base plus the listed inbox add-on—not a quote for your dealership. Taxes, other services, extra users and custom inventory terms are not included.

CARVID advertised monthly base and AI inbox costs, reviewed September 8, 2026
PlanUsersBase / monthInbox add-onCombined / month
Starter1$249+$99$348
GrowthUp to 5$499+$299$798
EnterpriseUp to 10$799+$499$1298

There are also annual options and separately priced services. Do not treat the top displayed tier as a maximum possible quote or assume an inbox labeled “built-in” is included in the base subscription.

Two terms to get in writing

Inventory size: the homepage fine print says displayed prices cover up to 100 cars and larger inventories need custom pricing. The dedicated pricing page instead highlights custom quotes for 500-plus cars and multiple rooftops. That does not settle the allowance for 101–499 cars. Ask CARVID to confirm your exact lot size in the order.

Annual cancellation: the pricing FAQ describes a pro-rata unused-month refund, while its terms contain a general non-refundable-paid-period rule unless law or a written agreement provides otherwise. Ask which written terms apply to your purchase rather than assuming either statement overrides the other. Sources: homepage, pricing FAQ and terms.

Where AutoPosting Pro is a different fit

AutoPosting Pro focuses on public dealership inventory brought into Chrome, vehicle-owned photo galleries, editable AI captions and a visible Marketplace queue. You sign in to Facebook in this Chrome profile. It does not claim CARVID’s full distribution, video or CRM-integration scope.

Individual starts at $9.90 for the first month, then $29.90/month. Studio’s reviewed AI photo and buyer-draft tools are $99.90/month. Check current plans and availability; compare the same number of users and actual tools, not a solo entry price against an entire team package.

In Studio’s review mode, AI replies remain drafts until you confirm the words and recipient. A separately enabled salesperson-written first-response template can send. Compare the active reply mode, test settings and handoff behavior in each installed app with CARVID’s advertised inbox automation; do not assume all AI tools send in the same way. See the side-by-side CARVID comparison.

Ask for evidence before calling it worth the cost

  1. Use your inventory source. Inspect a vehicle’s VIN, mileage, description and full gallery. Ask how missing or failed refreshes are shown.
  2. Watch the publishing boundary. Identify the account, required device, final approval and resulting listing link. Ask what happens if the computer sleeps.
  3. Test the change workflow in review mode. Inspect proposed price/sold updates and how the exact listing is matched; do not mutate a real price just for a demonstration.
  4. Walk through a buyer handoff. Check how trade, offer and appointment questions reach a person, and how that person takes control.
  5. Compare remaining work. Record review time, correction work and support needs. Use your own measurements; advertised sales gains do not establish your return.

This is a proposed evaluation, not a test we have performed. No vendor’s advertised daily cap establishes Facebook’s universal safe limit. Read our posting-limit guide and software decision checklist before equating posting volume with value.

Common questions

Is CARVID worth it for a single car salesperson?

It depends on whether you need its broader dealership distribution, media, integration and lead features. A solo salesperson seeking a focused Chrome inventory and Marketplace workflow should compare the actual recurring cost and remaining work with alternatives such as AutoPosting Pro. This vendor-authored guide is not a hands-on CARVID review or proof of return on investment.

Is CARVID's AI Inbox Responder included in the base price?

The pricing page reviewed September 8, 2026 lists it as an add-on: $99/month for Starter, $299 for Growth and $499 for Enterprise, in addition to the base plan. Confirm a written quote for your users, inventory size and other services.

Does CARVID post to Marketplace entirely in the cloud?

Its homepage describes Marketplace posting through a browser extension on the dealership's own computer in its existing Facebook session. Its mobile and broader distribution tools do not, by themselves, establish phone-only Marketplace posting. Ask to see the current device and publishing requirements.

Does AutoPosting Pro offer the same tools as CARVID?

No. AutoPosting Pro focuses on dealership website inventory and a reviewable Marketplace workflow in Chrome, with editable AI captions. Studio adds reviewed AI photos and inventory-grounded buyer drafts; in review mode, those drafts require confirmation before sending. CARVID advertises broader distribution, AI video and a separately priced automatic inbox responder. Compare each app's active reply mode and specific tools, not just the AI label.
